We invite you to Follow the Yellow Brick Road to ROCK’s 14th Annual Barn Dance on June 13, 2020! It all started with a dream. The dream of a woman who knew that imagination and perseverance could take her anywhere, even over the rainbow. The yellow brick road leads to a magical place…HOME! There’s no place like ROCK, a magical place that is home to 241 children, 44 adults, 129 veterans and families, 450 volunteers, 30 horses, and 31 staff. It is filled with hopes, dreams, and victories. Like in The Wizard of Oz, it took knowledge, heart, and courage to build ROCK. Those attributes are as necessary today as they were 21 years ago. As we look towards the future, ROCK’s vision includes an expansion that will allow ROCK to reach more participants and change more lives. What it takes to make this vision a reality can be learned from lessons along the yellow brick road. • Make friends along your journeys • Stand up for yourself and never give up • Persevere – even when things are scary • Sing the song in your heart • Keep learning new things • Enjoy the beauty of new places Your sponsorship of our 2020 Barn Dance will help us continue to make a difference for individuals with challenges in our community and is greatly appreciated.
