St. David's Georgetown Hospital has a 60-year history as a community healthcare resource in Williamson County. A comprehensive healthcare provider, St. David's Georgetown Hospital, part of St. David’s HealthCare, is a 118-bed facility offering a range of services, including a 24-hour emergency department with a Level IV Trauma Center; Certified Primary Stroke Center; cardiac catheterization and imaging; advanced endoscopy and bronchoscopy; inpatient and outpatient surgery including robotics; advanced pulmonary intervention; critical care capabilities; acute inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation; orthopedics and joint replacement; and maternity and newborn services with mother-baby couplet care close to home.
St. David’s HealthCare includes nine of the area’s leading hospitals and is one of the largest health systems in Texas. As the fourth-largest private employer in the Austin area, St. David’s HealthCare has more than 12,000 colleagues across more than 180 sites of care.
St. David’s HealthCare is a unique partnership between hospital management company HCA Healthcare and two local nonprofits—St. David’s Foundation and Georgetown Health Foundation. The proceeds from the operations of the hospitals fund the foundations, which, in turn, invest those dollars back into the community. Since the inception of St. David’s HealthCare in 1996, more than $947 million has been given back to the community to improve the health and healthcare of Central Texans.
