2022.6 Barbette
Greetings Friends!
Come help us celebrate the Williamson Museum's exciting new exhibit about Williamson County's very own Barbette! The remarkable story of this internationally renowned drag aerialist from Round Rock, TX who performed on the world's grandest stages throughout the 1920s and 30s roars to life in this fantastically informative and engaging exhibit.
Please join us this Thursday evening, June 16, 2022, 6-8 pm, along with: Round Rock City Councilman Frank Ortega; members of local arts and cultural organizations; and more.
We'll have snacks and beverages and hope to see you there. Roaring 20s/flapper/jazz age attire is suggested, but not required. An electronic invitation is attached, feel free to share it with anyone you think would be interested.
If you can't make the opening this Thursday, not to worry! The Barbette exhibit will be up for two years and we'll have lots of fun-related programming for adults and kids alike throughout its run.
Cheers (or 23 Skidoo!) and we hope to see you soon -
Nancy
