Speaker: Sofia Nelson, Planning Director for the City of Georgetown

Held the 3rd Tuesday of each month, Breakfast Links provides a community update on a topic of interest to the business community. Pre-registration and online registration for this event are open until 3 p.m. the day before the event.

About the Speaker: 
Sofia Nelson carries a long history of seeking to support and serve her community both professionally and personally.  She currently serves as the Planning Director for the City of Georgetown and oversees the historic preservation, long range planning, and the review of all development applications.
With nearly 15 years of local government experience she has served in critical positions for some of the central Texas region’s fastest growing communities.  A graduate of Texas State University, Sofia holds a bachelor’s degree in Geography.
Sofia is proud to be raising her family in Georgetown and is passionate and grateful for the opportunity to be serving the community both professionally as the City’s Planning Director and personally as a board member for the Georgetown Health Foundation.
