Kim Barnes has spent 30+ years on the air! She was an award-winning reporter and news anchor for 15 years. Since leaving news, she is also seen in corporate videos, commercials and does voiceover work. She works with her former sportscaster husband, Mike Barnes, as Barnes Team Media. They work with executives, entrepreneurs, speakers and small business owners who want to improve their on-camera presence for video, virtual presentations, media interviews, as well as public speaking. They have a son who graduated from Texas A&M and a daughter who graduated from UT. Both are gainfully employed and have their own health insurance!!
Kim & Mike also have parents in their 80’s and are navigating long distance caregiving. They launched Parenting Aging Parents in 2021 to help others trying to help their parents. Parenting Aging Parents provides content, connection and community so caregivers don’t feel alone and have the information they need to navigate this challenging time. PAP has a website with 100+ expert interviews and they lead a private Facebook group with more than 16,000 adult children. They like to say, “We’re all in this together!”.
