Sarofim Music Series: Eunghee Cho
Korean-American cellist Eunghee Cho has performed internationally as soloist, chamber musician, and educator, earning top prizes in competitions including the Alice & Eleonore Schoenfeld International String Competition and Gustav Mahler Prize Cello Competition. He is Principal Cellist of Mercury Chamber Orchestra, cellist of Trio Magnoliana, Artistic Director of Mellon Music Festival, and Director of Chamber Music at Texas Music Festival. Eunghee currently teaches at the University of Houston’s Moores School of Music. He will be joined by pianist Jeanne Hourez, Southwestern University’s part-time Assistant Professor of Music.
