All session locations are subject to change. By completing this application, you understand that you may only miss ten (10) hours in order to graduate from the program. Please note that if an emergency occurs, any participant who misses more than ten (10) hours, regardless of the reason, may be asked to withdraw from the program without a refund. Participants will need to complete three separate meetings, outside of the Leadership Georgetown Program, prior to graduation in May. They include designated board meetings, city council meetings, police ride-alongs, and special Chamber events.

OUTSIDE MEETING REQUIREMENTS

Prior to City/Local Government and Economic Development Day, you are required to attend a Georgetown City Council Meeting. Prior to Public Safety Day, you are required to attend a Police, Fire, or Communications Dept. ride along. Prior to State/Federal Government Day, you are required to attend a Chamber Cornerstone luncheon, or Breakfast Links. Prior to Graduation, you are required to assist with the Class Project.

More details will be provided once accepted into the program.

PROGRAM GOALS

• To build leadership skills and encourage civic engagement • To increase understanding of community needs and opportunities • To develop community pride • To motivate participants for volunteer opportunities

PROGRAM FEE

The member program fee is $1000.00 and is non-refundable. The non-member program fee is $1,300.00 and non-refundable. Priority selection is given to Chamber members in good standing. This fee covers program supplies and meals. The fee is due once you have been accepted into the program.
