Community Blood Drive

When most people think of “donating blood,” they picture the traditional whole blood donation—where you give about a pint of blood. After your donation, the blood is separated into red cells, plasma, and platelets, which are sent to local hospitals for patients in need.
 

• How Long Does It Take? From check-in to refreshments, plan for about 45 minutes to 1 hour. The actual donation itself usually takes only 15–30 minutes.
• What to Bring: A photo ID is required to donate.
• Donor Perk: All donors in May will receive a free limited-edition t-shirt as our thanks.
• Appointments: Appointments are preferred to help us keep things running smoothly, but walk-ins are welcome as space allows.
