Community Blood Drive
When most people think of “donating blood,” they picture the traditional whole blood donation—where you give about a pint of blood. After your donation, the blood is separated into red cells, plasma, and platelets, which are sent to local hospitals for patients in need.
Everyone who donates at the 13 blood drives at participation organizations part of Wilco Saves will receive an exclusive 2026 Wilco Saves t-shirt.
Wilco Saves also highlights the critical work hospital and EMS partners provide, serving the community year-round to provide crucial care. For some, this dedication means working nights, weekends, or holidays like Labor day. With your blood donation, healthcare providers are able to help Central Texans when the need arises. It is a true labor of love. All blood given through We Are Blood goes to local hospitals and stays in Central Texas to help our neighbors, friends, family and others.

Williamson County is one of ten Central Texas counties We Are Blood donors support. Lifesaving donations from donors like you provide transfusions in area hospitals and in the field. In Williamson County, that includes hospitals like Ascension Seton Cedar Park, Ascension Seton Williamson County, Baylor Scott & White Medical Center, St. David’s Round Rock, St. David’s Georgetown Hospital, Texas Children’s Hospital North Austin, and Dell Children’s Medical Center North Campus.
Our community requires about 200 donors every single day to meet demand. Your donation can make a life-saving difference.
- How Long Does It Take? From check-in to refreshments, plan for about 45 minutes to 1 hour. The actual donation itself usually takes only 15–30 minutes.
- What to Bring: A photo ID is required to donate.
- Donor Perk: All donors in May will receive a free limited-edition t-shirt as our thanks.
- Appointments: Appointments are preferred to help us keep things running smoothly, but walk-ins are welcome as space allows.
